Cooking

For cooking this week I made Italian sausage soup, and hard boiled eggs. For the soup I browned the sausage, While that was cooking I cut up all of the vegetables and let them sauté for a little bit once the meat was browned. After that I pushed the meat and vegetables to the side and put in tomato paste and garlic. While that was cooking I cut the zucchini. Once that was done I added the broth, zucchini, and seasoning. I let that cook for about 15 minutes and then I put it in the fridge. For the eggs I started to boil the water and let the eggs get to room temperature. Once the water came to a rolling boil I used a spoon too carefully pace them in the water. I let them cook for 10 minutes. While they where cooking I filled up the sink with cold water. After the ten minutes was up I quickly drained the eggs then put them into the water and I added ice pack. I left them in the sink for 5 minutes and put them into a container.

Biology of roatan

For my biology I decided to do it on the gumbo-limbo tree. One of the most common plants on Roatan is the Gumbo-limbo tree. Also known as the Gumbalimba tree. The tree is hysterically named the "tourist" tree. It is named this because the bark of the tree contains of red peeling skin, as in the peeling skin of tourists when they get sunburned.
