For my biology I decided to do it on the gumbo-limbo tree. One of the most common plants on Roatan is the Gumbo-limbo tree. Also known as the Gumbalimba tree. The tree is hysterically named the "tourist" tree. It is named this because the bark of the tree contains of red peeling skin, as in the peeling skin of tourists when they get sunburned.
