Chapter 1 and 2 summary of Hatchet

In chapter one is about a boy named Brian who has divorced parents. It starts with him on a plane, but he has flashbacks about the divorce and being in the car. While he was in the plane the pilot was showing him how to work the plane a little. While they were in there Brian started to smell an odor, but he thought it was just a fart from the captain because he had eaten something. But pretty soon the captain  had a heart attack and it wasn't clear if he was dead or just in a coma type thing.Brain feels stuck after the pilot's heart attack. The plane continues without a pilot until the brain realizes he has to take control of the plane. Confused by all the controls brian attempts to find the radio. Reaching for the control brian accidentally bumps into the pilot's headset he must correct what he messed up. He tries to use the ratio to find that it doesn't word and the plane loses connection before he can convey any important information. He attempts multiple more times to get in contact with someone but fails. Brian tries planning a successful landing but realizes he doesn't have enough time to prepare. Suddenly the plane engine died forcing him to land early.
