Billy realizes he needs to catch a coon so he can train his dogs so with his 3 traps he goes to his grandfather for help on how to catch a coon. His grandpa showed him all of the tips and tricks on how to catch a raccoon. When they were done he thanked his grandpa and went home. By the time he got there it was too late to start making the trap. The next day he got right to it, he got the can and everything he needed. He was making his traps on the way to the river but he ran out of nails, he had fourteen traps in total. He set them all up and he waited. And day after day he would get nothing and after a week of nothing he gave up. His father came to talk to him and told him that sent the wears off in a week so Billy decided to give it one more shot and on his third trap there it was his first coon. After he ran back home and told his parents. Then all of the family went to where the coon was. Billy's dad killed the coon. They went home and skinned it the next day training started. training went on for awhile then he stoped and let them rest because hunting season was just around the corner.
