When he came out his left shoulder was open to the bone. The man approached and the dog was still angry. The dog was growling at him but the man went closer and in a soft voice spoke to the dog. The dog calmed down and let the man come to him. After the man noticed a name on the dog's collar that read "Buddie".after that he took buddie to his home and cared for him for a bit. Once it got dark he decided that it was time to let buddie go on with his traveling. He opened the gate buddie wined and put his head in the man's hand then buddie turned and slowly disappeared into the night as he shed a tear from his boyhood memories.
