reading for next week

Anne and the rest of the people in the house have to pick a place to take a bath. The first place Anne picked she had to share with her sister. Anne decided to take the bathroom for her spot, she could sit, turn on the lights, and nobody would be able to see her. The plumbers came and fixed the pipes. Nobody could use the bathroom so they had to use a canning jar. Mrs. Van Daans birthday came along, there wasn't a big celebration, just a couple small gifts, flowers, and great food. Anne found out that she and Peter have one thing they have in common. They both like to dress up. Peter puts on one of his mom's dresses and Anne puts on his suit. They like to dance around and make the family laugh.

For the past couple days Anne has been working away at school. Doing math, translating French, and reading. Anne, her sister and her mother are all friends again. Anne thinks that it's nice that she and Margot talk to each other at night and have both agreed to let the other one read their diary. Anne is getting paid by her father. She is thinking about all of the things she wants to buy with the money. The carpenter cam and nobody new about it except for Mrs. Van Daan, Anne and her dad sat by the book shelf waiting for the man to leave and when they thought he had left someone started knocking on the book shelf. They kept knocking and pulling on it. Anne was so frightened she almost fainted. Mr.Van Daan told them that it was him and the lock got stuck.
