In this lesson we learned about the sephardim: Iberian Judaism. The black deaths spread to many towns, the Jews were blamed for this even though they were affected too. There was a court that would detect wrong beliefs. People were threatened with torture if they didn't confess. There was a place called the "minaret" and in this building there was a counter clockwise clock that stood for the people to return home. Hebrew was used in song and was very popular, people still use the same cords and tones for the music today.
