Today we learned about The Christian Reconquista. There was a man who thought of himself as an emperor. There were for different kingdoms and as they grew they would sometimes get in fights. A new kingdom was formed. The king of this new kingdom would force Muslims out of their land. At one place they would feed a chicken something to put it to sleep and while it was sleeping they would take out all of the feathers and rub honey on it so that it looked like it was cooked.
