Chapter 4 summary of "where the red fern grows"
Billy went to his grandpa's store every day hoping that the answer had come and almost every day his grandpa would say that it had not come yet. Until one day he went and he noticed his grandpa was in a much more cheery mood. His grandpa was talking to six farmers when he got there. After they all left his grandpa turned to him and the letter had come and the dogs were still there and they had dropped 5$ each. His grandfather said that his wagon couldn't make it to the town they needed to get the dogs at. So he suggested that billy asked around to see if he could get a ride. The next day Billy went back to his grandfather's store, and his grandpa had told someone about Billy needing a right and they offered to take him in a week cus they were needing to go there. Billy went back home and got into bed. Layed there think about it and decided that he couldn't wait a week so he got up and packed a little back and then he was on his way to get those dogs. Once he arrived at the town he saw a store with lots of new clothes he went in to get his family some new clothes as an apology for running away. After that he looked for the dog store and as he was looking he came across a man. He asked the man where he could find the store the man told him. Then Billy thanked him and was on his way. While he was walking he came across a school with a lady sitting there. He continued to walk not understanding the people in that town.
